Television

Wreak Havoc
Studio Holdings developed the live action comedy series, Wreak Havoc, a smart, irreverent series of 9 short format episodes, using undercover spy cams and beguiling premises to "wreak havoc" on innocent and unsuspecting "co-stars." Wreak Havoc has been optioned to be developed into a pilot for network television.


Publishing

Studio Holdings books are distributed in North America by Consortium Booksellers and Distribution and nonexclusively through Gingko Books in all other territories.

Discovery Inn
Discovery Inn, the Photographs of Danny Clinch features revealing and fascinating photographs of some of the most provocative musicians from the last decade and includes many never before published photographs. The book received coverage in New York Magazine, Paper Magazine, and Time Out.

Entertainment Weekly said, "In this gorgeous collection, Clinch manages to inventively capture overexposed rock stars like Eddie Vedder and the Smashing Pumpkins, making their images seem fresh even though you've seen them a hundred times."

Life in the Garden
Part book, part poetry, part game, Life in the Garden, by artist and game designer, Eric Zimmerman, is the first of its kind, using a deck of 54 pages of imagery and prose that combines and recombine to form new stories based on the tale of Adam and Eve. The combinations are endless, creating a coherent and meaningful story every time you read it.

When the Iron Bird Flies:
Tibetan Freedom Concerts 1996-1999

Published in close collaboration with The Milarepa Fund, founded by the Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch, features a powerful collection of images from the groundbreaking concert series and was covered in such media as: Esquire Magazine, Gear Magazine, MTV Radio & VH1 Network, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Billboard Magazine.

Self Timer Films
Self Timer is the parent company of two film companies, Single Cell Pictures and C-Hundred Film Corp., both founded and run by R.E.M. lead singer/film producer, Michael Stipe.

Single Cell Pictures and C-Hundred Film Corp. have a proven track record of critically acclaimed films including Oscar-nominated, Being John Malkovich, Sundance festival winners, American Movie and Girl's Town and Cannes
Festival Winner, Velvet Goldmine.

Being John Malkovich
Produced in 1999, Being John Malkovich won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay, a British Academy of Film and Television Award for Best Screenplay, a PGA Producer's Visionary Award, a
GLAAD Award for Best Feature Film, and appearances on over 175 critic's 1999 top ten best picture lists.

Thirteen Conversations About One Thing
Written and directed by Jill Sprecher. Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Clea Duvall, Alan Arkin, John Turturro, Amy Irving. Currently in post production.

C-Hundred Film Corp.

C-Hundred Film Corp. founder, Jim McKay, best known for Girl's Town, was recipient of the Filmmakers Trophy and a Special Jury Prize for Collaboration at Sundance in 1996. More recently, McKay produced the Sony Pictures Classics distributed American Movie, winner of the 1999 Sundance
Film Festival Grand Jury Prize.

Spring Forward
Spring Forward directed by Tom Gilroy, stars Ned Beatty, Live Schreiber, Ian Hart, Peri Gilpin, Campbell Scott and Catherine Kellner; debuted at Sundance 2000. The Independent Film Channel's new distribution arm, IFC Films, chose Spring Forward as its first to release in [*December 2000].

Our Song
Written and directed by C-00's Jim McKay, Our Song is the first film to be distributed by IFC Films' new theatrical film distribution company. The New York Times says of the film, "Our Song is so unlike most Hollywood coming-of-age stories as to seem downright revolutionaryS With Our Song McKay has proved himself to be an indispensable filmmaker."

Benjamin Smoke
Benjamin Smoke, a documentary directed by Jem Cohen and Peter Sillen, looks at the life of, Benjamin, the HIV-positive leader of the Atlanta-based band, Smoke; was theatrically released by Cowboy Booking International on July 2000.

Stranger Inside
Stranger Inside, written and directed by Cheryl Dunye (The Watermelon Woman) and starring newcomers Yolonda Ross and Davenia McFadden, with a supporting role by Rain Phoenix, [is produced in conjunction with HBO] was screened at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival and will air on HBO Summer 2001.

The Sleepy Time Gal
The Sleepy Time Gal, directed by Chris Munch (The Hours and Times, Color of a Brisk and Leaping Day), stars Jacqueline Bisset, Seymour Cassel, Martha Plimpton, Frankie Faison and was accepted into the Dramatic Competition at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. We are currently seeking distribution in US for this film.


Audio

Ticklah
Polydemic by Ticklah was Studio Holdings' first audio project, released in CD, vinyl, and MP3 format. A founding member of Cooly's Hot Box, Ticklah is a Brooklyn-based multi instrumentalist, accomplished session player, and remixer. Polydemic is Ticklah's first solo release.

Honeydogs & Gigolo Aunts
Honeydogs and Gigolo Aunts joined Studio Holdings with the acquisition o f Simon Ventures in 1997. Both bands toured nationwide and were promoted through Studio Holdings artist development division. Last year, the company announced a d eal signing Honeydogs with Palm Pictures, the music division of Chris Blackwell1s Palm Entertainment.
